Lady Sabers 64 New South Wales 84

For the second year in a row Coach Marcel Webster was able to schedule an international competition for the Lady Sabers. Last year the Lady Sabers pulled off a big win over the Sturt Sabers out of Australia and they would get another chance to compete against an Australian squad, but this time from New South Wales.

New South Wales came into the game confident and showed their skill as they competed hard against the more experienced home team. Their offense was unstoppable as they poured in 50 points before the half time buzzer went off and would coast to a 84 to 64 victory. 5 New South Wales players ended the game in double digit scoring.

Amaya Scott and Mykayla Greene were bright spots for the Sabers as they were able to figure out the defense of New South Wales and put up 24 and 20 points respectively. Greene amassed her totals behind hot shooting from the beyond the arc, going 4 for 6 and 7 for 11 from the floor in general. Scott's aggressive play rewarded her with a 7 for 10 day from the charity stripe.

Montana Moore performed well coming back from a minor lower leg injury to collect 10 points and barely miss a double-double with 9 boards.

The Lady Sabers next contest will be against the visiting Florida College Falcons.
