12/4/15
Lady Sabers 46 Columbia International 71

The royal and grey entered the gym in Columbia, South Carolina with high hopes of defeating the Rams, but those hopes were quelled early in the game. The Rams scored the first 7 points of the game and led 17 to 5 at the end of the first quarter, a lead they would  never give back. The Sabers' offense was just as lackluster in the second quarter as they were outscored 9 to 18 to take a 14 to 35 deficit into the locker room.

The second half was much more respectable as Mykayla Greene and Amaya Scott found their shots and were able to spur the offense to a 32 point second half. The half wasn't enough to make up for one of the least productive first halves in recent memory for the Sabers, however as they fell 46 to 71.

Mykayla Greene paced the Sabers with 11 points and 7 rebounds. Amaya Scott added 10, even through playing with pain for much of the contest after being elbowed early.

The Sabers will play Virginia University Lynchburg tomorrow at home.
